This nappy cream has a very thick consistency, and no particular smell like some other similar products do. It does seem to provide an effective barrier from wetness on the skin when used prophylactically but it did not help clear up nappy rash when it occurred - I found myself having to reach for our favourite natural nappy cream to help elevate redness and irritation. In the future I would prefer to use the natural product and wouldn’t use this one again.

I first received a tube of Mustela nappy cream from a friend when bubs was born and used it from birth.

After that we used Bepanthen and Sudocreme

I then received another sample of Mustela from the sample box and used it again and here are my honest thoughts.

Pros:
-Trusted brand
-Great for preventing rashes
-Smells fine
-Easy to squeeze out from tube (much prefer a squeezy tube than a tub like Sudocreme)

Cons:
-Little bit more expensive than other brands
-In comparison to Bepanthen, I found that mustela was a bit thicker/creamier and less easy to apply than Bepanthen which just glides on smoothly

Overall it is a great product without any major faults.

purchased this after receiving it as a gift for my son and it is a great barrier cream, it doesn't so much get rid of a bad rash but does help with preventing them. It is a good price and only $10 and it quite a large tube, overall it is a good product and i will keep purchasing

The downfall of this product is the cost of it compared to its competitors. It is quite costly when there is a lot of effective products on the market much cheaper. That being said however, this product does contain more natural ingredients than a lot of its competitors. While most nappy rash creams are thick and often get stuck in the leg creases of babies for multiple nappy changes due to their thick consistency, this product is more of a translucent cream when applied and feels more watery in comparison. This makes it extra easy to spread as well. The product itself is effective and does exactly what it says it will do in terms of preventing nappy rash but also relieving it when you have forgotten to apply a cream for a while and a rash has appeared
